I used drugs "recreationally" throughout my whole life, well into my 40s. I struggled heavily to not be dependent any longer--no easy fight. Now in my 50s I have more problems physically than I can count on two hands because the drugs ravished my body so intensely. Mentally things are foggy, and remembering my own phone number is hard. What did I use? Probably acid and a ton of real heavy drugs, right? Wrong. Marijuana and some occasional cocaine. Just because it's green doesn't mean it is harmless. If I had found a website like this 20 years ago, my life would have been different. I thank you for your informative site and I know it will help others who struggle like I did.

Not only was able to find an effective addiction treatment center online, but once I graduated the program I then went back to school and became a counselor who specializes in addiction. Now, I am drug free and have a purpose in life which is helping other people overcome drug and alcohol addiction. If you or a loved needs to find a drug rehab center, i would recommend a long term facility.
