Real Drug Prevention

Well, it's been a while and I've been busy. Over the last month I've been out and about and helping make sure students don't go down the same road that 23 million Americans have gone, and that is the road to destruction because of alcohol and other drugs.

We've built strong alliances with many groups and agencies throughout the country and it has been a pleasure working with members of the DEA Demand Reduction team in New York City as well as teachers and students in Oklahoma and California. I've been working with one group of students in particular in the Lost Angeles area who are learning to become peer leaders and work with kids near their own age or younger to help keep them away from drugs as well. These kids are great and it's wonderful to see them want to help their fellow classmates.
